Send yourself a Reminder Email to your mobile phone (For those of us without an iPhone or Blackberry)
1. Find the email address of your mobile phone carrier. AT&T for example is your 10 digit mobile phone number @txt.att.net
2. Set up a scheduled email to your mobile phone at a predetermined time. If you are going to be away from the office and need to be on a conference call at 11:00 am send yourself a text at 10:55 am
Check your email without an iPhone or Blackberry.
This one is a little tricky but will give you some ideas that may work for you.
1. Set up a Google mail account.
2. From your current email provider forward your email to your Google mail account. (The reason I have to forward to Google is my email provider website is not mobile friendly.
3. Set up to receive an alert text on your mobile phone when new mail arrives. I did it from my main email provider not GMAIL but I think you can do it from GMAIL directly, I don't because my GMAIL is the address I give out to websites to keep my main email spam free.
4. Go to GMAIL from your mobile phone and enter your info and access your GMAIL account and bookmark the page.
5. When I receive an email I get a text showing who the email is from and I can choose to check it or wait till I get to the office.
Check your !ntellect schedule with your mobile Phone
1. Using Chaossync for Google, sync your calendar with Google.
2. Access Google calendar from your mobile phone and book mark the page.
Hope this helps if you have any questions just let me know.
