I just noticed it. No beta for T&C. That implies email changes/fixes.

I just downloaded the 6/16 beta, but I believe it's what I downloaded on the 16th (unless it was uploaded after I downloaded it!!). I wish there was some notation as to which beta is which (maybe 3.0.4.0a, b, etc., or an extra digit at the end of the version number) AND what was fixed. I have a link to a beta history, but it only shows 3.0.4.0 and earlier, not any more recent betas.

Meanwhile, my email problems still exist (as explained in the Mail Module area). I have no idea what was fixed in this beta, email or otherwise.

Where did you see the date of 6/16/09? Perhaps I'm not looking in the right place. :?

I don't know about any changes made in the 6/16 beta, however the colour scheme now being used seems to be so much more pleasing than the previous 3.04.

Not seeing this here ? Have you tried clicking RESET on the Column Selection Dialog?

Most of the work in this beta pertains to Themes. The Themes are now being pulled from a theme.ini file located in the application directory. So, if you have downloaded and not noticed anything different ..... that is a good thing. This will allow us to develop some new innovative schemes easily.

If you fashion yourself as a tweaker, you are welcome to also download the Theme Editor that we use. Please bear in mind that creating a theme is very difficult as it is much more art than science. The theme editor can be downloaded from http://www.chaossoftware.com/beta/themeeditorsetup.exe

Please BACKUP YOUR THEME.INI file, and note that your customized THEME.INI file will be replaced whenever you install and update from us. (it will be moved to old versions). This is a necessary requirement.

If you develop a cool theme, please post a picture.

That is too cool. I saw theme.ini but couldn't figure out what you were doing with it. I'm going to call my first theme MagentaMigraine. :P

For those interested, the Theme Editor seems to run happily from a USB stick. Just copy the Theme Editor program folder to your Chaos programs directory and add the lines below to accessories.ini (substituting your correct path).

[Theme Editor]
Path=T:\MY PROGRAMS\Chaos Software\Theme Editor\ThemeEditor.exe
Datatype=P
Param=APPPATH
QuoteParam=1

Hello Mddmx,

I know it's been suggested before and your explanation of what is new in this latest beta is welcome, however, is there much trouble in posting along with the new betas as they become available a short "what's new/fixed" listing to accompany the download file (perhaps as a readme?).

I would love that also. I thought that I had a link to a "beta history" file, but when I checked it, it only listed the 3.0.4.0 original changes.
