Just out of curiosity started from scratch, made a new Google account, left all the default settings, cannot sync with that either.

Possible a firewall blocking you? Not sure...just reaching at this point

...or Google in your location is playing up.

The only time I have had problems with Chaos Sync for Google was when Google was having problems.

I believe Google may be different in different locations. If this is so, it could explain why some are having a problem while others are not.

It would be nice to just bookmark http://www.chaossoftware.com/beta/ and have the list of Beta releases show up, we would also see the last modified date of the various Beta's on one screen without having to download. Release notes could be included by the developer if so inclined.

I guess it would also be possible to hot link to that page in the first posting of this topic so at a glance we could see what's new just by coming here. JustDave would not have to download and determine the version.

There are probably a lot of people re-downloading the same Beta's thinking that there might be a new one available.

Directory Listing Denied
This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.

I guess it's done this way intentionally by the developer but it does not have to be. Put in the various disclaimers about how it is a beta release and unexpected errors could occur by installing. It's meant for testing purposes and to provide feedback to the developer.

If the betas are going to become more visible, the user databases should keep track of which version of T&C or Intellect had been used. Perhaps this is already done, it's common practice.
