Beta Download Locations

Is there a way to determine which Beta is on line? I hate to download and reinstall the same beta, but at same time would like to help by running the latest tweak. I know there is "build data" in the help file, but that means downloading/installing . . .

It would be nice if there was a beta location with an index file (.htm, html, php, asp, etc.--as in: chaossoftware.com/beta/index.html) with the betas listed along with the compile date for each--then it would be easy to see if the download is any newer than the build one is currently using.

I have added the Intellect Beta link to my accessories.ini file, so I can download it from within Intellect. To see the compile date/time I save the beta file to my desktop, then I right click on it and select properties, click on the Digital Signatures tab and click on Details. If it's newer than my last beta, I backup Intellect install and try to find out whats new. The current beta fixes a few issues I had, so far so good.

As you can see I also can open my accessories.ini file from the Accessories menu.

Please put a date and version number in the file name, so I can see if I have the latest before I download.

mhunter - That's pretty neat. One-click beta access. I'll have to add a link to my Chaos contact.

Regarding beta versions, I'll follow mhunter's lead on this also. For the time being I'll check the betas regularly and post the signature timestamp. I've edited the original post with current info.

I have it installed and synced to my thumbdrive...haven't had a chance to see what's new yet but it seems to working fine.

I have added the Intellect Beta link to my accessories.ini file, so I can download it from within Intellect.

Neat idea. I added "Edit xxx.ini" to my accessories file as well. Makes it easier to experiment (play).
