In fact, I list the topics in any given forum from newest down to oldest, and read from the bottom up. However, for any topic, I list the posts from oldest down to newest!
I must say that my seeming inconsistency here has always bothered me somewhat, but there is method in my madness. You see, by listing the posts that way, i can readily refresh my memory as to the details of the OP's post, before launching into the latest missives.
